Happy Monday!!
I'm annoyed to report...that it is STILL snowing at my house.
UGH
I'm sure you all heard that we got hit pretty hard with "Nemo" the blizzard up in the Northeast.
I spent my whole weekend drinking wine, watching HGTV and NOT doing any house cleaning.
I was stir crazy by yesterday afternoon that's for sure!
Here is my weekend via Instagram....
{During the "calm before the storm" I took a trip to Trader Joe's to stock up on 3 buck chuck}
{spent Friday afternoon filling my digital photo frame with wedding photos}
{around 10:30pm Mike and I made some snow angels}
{then we woke up to this Saturday morning...}
{Mike whipped up some pancakes and turkey sausage....yes I ate ALL of this}
{on Sunday I had to get out...so I hit up Target pretty hard}
We also celebrated my Nana's birthday on Sunday with a wonderful lunch with the whole family at a local Italian restaurant:)
Wishing a very happy 85th Birthday to my Nana....

i can't even imagine all that snow!! crazy!
ReplyDeleteHow in the world did you make it to Target? I'm so glad you did, though! I would have been walking to Target, I would have been so stir crazy!
ReplyDeleteomg that is A LOT of snow!!! holy cow!
ReplyDeleteYou guys are so lucky that you had power!
ReplyDeleteOmg that snow. How did you make it out of your place to go anywhere? I Guess that is the southener in me.
ReplyDeleteOMG I was so jealous of everyone's snow pictures...but I know living through it is actually a pain in the ass! AT LEAST YOU HAD WINE!
ReplyDeleteomg that is a crazy amount of snow!!! I hope you are able to get out this week and enjoy life outside your home lol. what is this 3 buck chuck? My friend and I were shopping an hour away on friday and there was a trader joes and we were talking about how we have never been there but didn't really know if we needed to go there for anything. Maybe now I could have a reason.
ReplyDeleteYesss girl! The wine is awesome...only $3.98 for a bottle! I'm a huge wine snob too and it's not bad at all....especially if you're going to be drinking a full bottle a night like moi:)
DeleteWe recently found a deal on wine at our grocery store wine for $2.50 a bottle. Talk about a deal. We bought a whole case. It's not the best wine for just sipping but it cooks up nicely & is greAt with meals.
ReplyDeleteStill can't believe how much snow Mass got! So crazy. My brother lives near Boston and it took him three hours to dig his car out.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday nana!
that is SO much snow! I know MA got hit the worse. My bff lives in cambridge and his door was blocked by snow! So crazy! Good thing you stocked up on wine b4hand. That is the MOST important thing!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I am more jealous of your date(s) with chuck or all that snow!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow!! Sometimes you need a forced relax weekend :)
ReplyDeleteAlso LOVE that Revlon color stay powder! It's all I've been using lately!! :)
good gracious, we're lucky to get a few inches in eastern NC, so I can't even imagine all that snow!
ReplyDeleteThat is so crazy how much snow you all are getting up there! I'm still shocked at every picture I see people posting. How did you drive to Target??! We get a couple inches around here and people are calling into work. hahah Quite the trooper you are!
ReplyDeleteI remember when we had the double blizzards down in this area and my goodness! It was fun at first but then it was just annoying. Esp having to shovel out your car. THE worst! I'm glad you guys made it through and were able to get out into civilization again!
ReplyDeleteAwww I love snow angels! Glad to hear you were able to dig out yesterday, my family wasn't able to get out until today. Craziness!
ReplyDeletewow what was the total of snow you got!?!?
