I logged into good ole Blogger this morning and couldn't believe my eyes!
Is this real life?
Do I really have 190 beautiful followers?
It seems like it was just yesterday that I was trying to hit that 100 mark. You guys are just plain FANTASTIC!! I love you all.
Want a fantastic giveaway from yours truly??
Yea I thought you did.....well it will be happening when this little old blog hits the 200 mark - so stay tuned!!
Moving on....
How was Easter for everyone out there? Mine was fantastic. I was in charge of cooking an appetizer and baking a dessert so I thought I would share with you what I made since both were a BIG HIT!
Pepperoni Pizza Dip
This was pretty easy to make! It didn't require too many ingredients (which I love) and the baking time was about 10 minutes!
Ingredients
Cream cheese (8 oz)
Red Pepper Flakes
Parsley
Oregano
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Chopped Green Pepper
Chopped Onion
Pizza Sauce
Pepperonis (I used Turkey)
The Process
Mix the first 4 ingredients together and spread in the bottom of a baking dish.
Top with a layer of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese & parmesan cheese
Add another layer of pizza sauce
Add another layer of cheese
Place pepperonis, peppers & onions on top an bake in the over for 10-15 minutes on 350
Serve with baguette slices
Oreo Cake
Ingredients
Chocolate cake mix
Cream cheese (8 oz)
Cool Whip
1/2 cup Sugar
Oreos
The Process
Bake the chocolate cake in two 9 inch cake pans (let them cool)
Mix cream cheese, sugar & Cool Whip in bowl
Place about 8 oreos into a plastic bag and smash them up (I used a rolling pin to do this - and it was fun:))
Mix the oreos into the frosting mixture
Cut the dome part off of one cake and place on plate
Spread the frosting mixture over the top
Add the second cake on top and spread frosting all over the exterior of the cake
Crush about 5 more oreos and sprinkle on top!
YUM - my mouth is watering just looking at these pictures....bon appetit!
